EnEff (Energy efficiency): City - Bottrop/ Welheimer Mark - efficiently networking neighbours
Project target
"By means of the energy-related networking of the Kruppwald/ Knippenburg industrial and trading estate with the neighbouring residential area for the future an environmentally friendly and cost-efficient energy supply for the whole neighbourhood is to be achieved. During the concept phase of the project up to the end of 2014 the existing potentials are to be revealed and new methods and instruments for implementation - e.g. coordination and temporary storage of the energy flows - are to be examined. The main technical buidling blocks of the project are: Analysis of the actual situation Working-out of approaches to solutions for energy-optimised supply to energy-intensive commercial and industrial companies (smart grid, decentralised CHP plants, load balancing by the use of storage systems as well as load distribution and load balancing) Energy-related optimisation of the residential area, supporting measuring and operation optimisation program"
